What else was this album going to end on? It's a slow rendition of my overture for the series that even makes use of material that I scrapped from the original 2019 suite. In many ways, I see this album as the spiritual sequel to those older rescores, and I wanted to make the ending as reminiscent of them as possible. The ending is just so quiet and peaceful that I decided to save the closing version of the theme for a future album. By bringing in the orchestration from the 2021 reimagining, this cue is a highly fitting end for this episode and album, and I truly can't wait to start working on the next ones.
