about

My rescore of the Doctor Who episode, The Unicorn & The Wasp, aka the jazz hybrid score that I've been wanting to do since I worked on 'Rise of the Cybermen' more than three years ago. With the exception of the theme tunes, every track has been renamed with the title of an Agatha Christie book, though my original cue titles can be seen in the description for each one.

This score also serves as a triumphant farewell to the Eastwest Bechstein Piano, which I've been using consistently since the aforementioned Cybermen two-parter I did in 2019. I still like the sound and feel of it, but to me it never truly meshed with the Spitfire & Cinesamples orchestra. Beginning with the next score, I'll be using the Cinesamples CinePiano, and while it might be a bit silly for me to get sentimental over a virtual instrument, I still made sure to send off the Bechstein properly with this score.
